Nice call Reno! I can't back you on that Nick Bowcott was in Grim Reaper, but you got your thinking cap on! As for Tim, don't let it keep you up. Surely he was fairly important to be amongst such high-powered talent. I just want to know who Nick Catonese was with because the curiousity is killing me. If I remember right, Nick Bowcott was in Grim Reaper You two are more than likely on to something. I don't know that name and as far as the other Nick goes, I could have overlooked him when I skimmed through my CD's. When I looked through my CD's the only Nick that I came up with was Nick Bowcott. I need to send a question to the seller and ask him. He's the only one I figure it could be unless you all know someone else named Nick. and on the description it said see Zakk and Nick live. I found a video last night on Ebay that said preB.L.S. It says Black Label Society's Nick Catonese on Guitar. I got that info on Nick at this website a while back. I haven't got off my ass to go get it yet, but I've heard ome of the tracks and so far they're pretty good. I have seen Zakk live and I have looked through my CD's. I have all their albums and I couldn't find his name anywhere.

Reno, I know you don't give two shits what I think, but I am pretty sure that Nick Catonese has nothing to do with B.L.S. By the way, Trevor Rabin of Yes fame wrote the musical score.
#Steelheart discography movie
Like you said Reno, it had some 'open ends.' The movie was based on Judas Priest's story. I don't believe it covered the most shocking aspects of the industry. The movie itself was fairly decent, but left alot of open ends. I think he's also in Black Label Society with Zakk, but i'm not for sure. I don't know who Nick Catonese is- do you? He was the other axeman besides Zakk. Jeff Scott Soto, Jason Bonham, Blas Elias, and Jeff Pilson are also in there. BUT! The best thing about that Rock Start soundtrack is the fact the Zakk Wylde plays guitar and has a spot in the movie. I've wonder what's been up with him lately. He sings on three songs (although there nothing to write home about). If I'm not mistaken, Mike sang on the 'Rock Star' soundtrack. Peppers' but oh the memories & great times!!! Being able to scream high enough to shatter glass is not necessarily desirable.Īaahh memories, memories. My GORGEOUS girlfriend in college just dug this cd & it was a great soundtrack to 'stuff'. I hate to double post, but let me also go on record that I wasn't trying to be 'cute' using those abbreviations, but rather trying to save space to complete my thought.

The production is also nothing to brag about, but if you want to hear a few good songs, decent music & fantastic vocalisations, then U have come to the right place b/c SH is 4 U. The musicianship is nowhere near astounding or creative it is standard from what you would expect from a band like this. There is really nothing else to rave about on Steelheart's self-titled debut, I'm being honet. Incredible.Īs you have already been told by everybody, yes, Michael Matijevics' voice IS incredible and that's it. MIKE'S VOICE IS AWESOME !!.THE SELF TITLED ALBUM IS ONE OF THE GREATEST MASTERPIECES OF GLAM METAL.CHECK IT OUT !! PERU LOVES STEELHEART !!!Ī very good songs and a very good voice. Mike has the best voice in Rock and Roll hands down! Never Let You Go gave me shivers the first time I heard it! I still listen to it all the time.

This is a classic hard rock album from a band that should have been so much bigger in the world. The production of Iron Maidens Bruce Dickinson is alsoo perfect. The songs just blows you away, with the perfect harmony between the heavy guitars and the exelent voice of Mike Matijevics. One of the best hard rock album ever released. in the movie rockstar!!!! he kicks ass!!! i heard from the grape vine that he has a new album coming soon.
